Synergy to build new shipyard in Brazil

The Synergy Group in Brazil has completed talked with the state governor of Alagoas to build an $876 million shipyard. To be located over a two million-square metre area in the city of Coruripe, Estaleiro Eisa de Alagoas will build both rigs and ships.

The President of the Synergy Group, German Efromovich, said that the construction of the shipyard would begin 2010.
