Cancellations at Indian yard

Tebma Shipyard in India has recently been hit by two cancellations. Norwegian owner DOF Subsea cancelled orders for three multipurpose supply vessels while Trico Marine Services, USA, has indefinitely suspended the delivery of four PSVs.

Trico Marine had ordered seven vessel but with an option to cancel its orders.

Another Indian shipyard could potentially also face some difficulties with orders totalling up to twelve vessels. Pipavav Shipyard is currently in negotiations with Golden Ocean, Norway, over the prices of two Panamax vessels, with Avgi Maritime, Greece, over six 75,000 dwt vessels and a further four vessels on order with Setaf, France.
