STX to build bulkers for Turkish owner

The vessels will be built at STX’s Jinhae shipyard and will be delivered from 2011 onwards. The newbuildings will have a length of 190m, a beam of 32.3m, a depth of 18.5m and a service speed of 14.5 knots.

STX said that it planned to focus on offshore plants and specialised vessels as well as research and development projects in 2010.
