Diana adds Caper newbuilding

With a length of 292m and a beam of 45m, the vessel has nine holds and a cargo capacity of 194,000 m³. Powered by a 14,577kW MAN 6S70 MC slow-speed diesel with an output of 14,557kW at 91 rpm, she has a 14 knot service speed.

The newbuilding is chartered to Nippon Yusen Kaisha for a minimum 58 to a maximum of 62 month period. Diana has seen a substantial level of business maintained in the last year despite the recession due to continued demand for raw materials from China. The company has also revealed plans to fund the creation of a new container shipping line.
