Schottel appoints UK/ROI distributor

SMS, based at Inverkeithing, Scotland, has been Schottel’s service partner in the UK and Ireland for many years and claims outstanding knowledge of the companys propulsion equipment.

Jens-Erk Bartels, SChottel’s director of marketing and sales, in welcoming the new arrangement said, “Sales and service in the hands of one company, and particularly one as knowledgeable and as conscientious as SMS, will ensure our customers receive the highest possible standards of service from the initial sale and supply of our equipment, and then right through its service life.”

Stone Marine Services takes over the sales operation for Schottel with immediate effect.
