Evergreen orders container ships from South Korea

Evergreen is executing its fleet expansion while shipbuilding costs are still relatively low and aims to construct 100 ships within the next decade, with the first to be completed by 2013. Chang specifies that all the newly ordered ships will be built to advanced eco-friendly designs, with each to cost less than $10,000 per TEU.
