The company has also extended its slurry shipment contract with New Zealand Steel Mining (NZSM) for 15 years to transport ironsand from New Zealand to China and Japan. Shipments under the contract will begin from 2012 and NYK Line is expected to transport about 1.2 million tonnes of ironsand a year.
