According to the yard, 100 men worked around-the-clock to successfully complete a tight work schedule, which included steel repairs, pipe renewals, grit-blasting the hull, electrical repairs and installations, main engine repairs, refurbishing the anchors and a complete repaint.

Project manager Paul Baker said: “The work went well and it was an enjoyable refit. Any refit is enjoyable but it’s nice to work on a large vessel of this size. It gives you more space in which to operate.”
