P+S issues insolvency statement
The statement reads: “We have received the decision of the District Court of Stralsund and will assist the provisional insolvency administrator Berthold Brinkmann so that he may quickly obtain an overview of the situation of P+S Werften.
The court appointed the provisional insolvency administrator so that insolvency wage pre-financing and debtor-in-possession financing can be quickly obtained. Self-administration is still an option. The court will rule on our application for self-administration of the main insolvency proceedings once it has decided on the opening of the insolvency proceedings.”
Berthold Brinkmann was the administrator appointed to oversee the Hamburg-based JJ Sietas group earlier this year, and who managed to find buyers for the individual group companies.
