The companies will offer the service at Mugardos shipyard in the Ferrol estuary

The frame agreement, which is already in force, was signed at Reganosa’s regasification terminal by Miguel Rodríguez Lorenzo, director of repairs Fene-Ferrol for Navantia, Emilio Bruquetas Serantes, director general of Reganosa and José Nemesio Rodríguez Maneiro, sales director at Gas Natural Comercializadora.

The companies will set up, within a maximum of thirty days, the legal structures that will regulate the partnership. Under the agreement, Navantia will offer insertion, tank cooling, LNG supply to complete the repair cycle and operation start up of vessels. Gas Natural Comercializadora will guarantee the availability of LNG at stable prices established sufficiently in advance, while Reganosa will provide the gas carriers with the services required.

This integral repair cycle service will be offered at Mugardos in the Ferrol estuary, Spain, to passing LNG maritime traffic. It will provide ship operators with a more attractive and competitive service and will generate more activity within the Ferrol estuary.
