Third Oasis contract goes to STX France

According to STX, the 361m long and 66m wide vessel, of 225,282gt, will be is one of the biggest ever built in Saint-Nazaire. It will be a sister to Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, which were built at STX Finland’s yard in Turku. It will have 2,700 cabins, with a maximum capacity of 5,400 passengers.

This contract will involve 10 million man hours of work for STX, with detailed planning due to start in January 2013, and production planned to start in September of the same year.
