New appointment for Yanmar

Mr Lettinga took assumed his new duties from 1 January 2013. He holds overall responsibility for sales, operations, strategy and planning related to leisure and commercial high-speed engines for the territories of Europe, Russia and Africa.

With his international experience, he is well-equipped to further develop our presence in the Russian and African markets.”

Mr Lettinga started his career with Yanmar in 2003 as a sales engineer for the leisure marine market in the Benelux. After having worked as area manager marine for Europe, he became a project specialist for marine, leisure and commercial high-speed engines with Yanmar Co. Ltd, the company headquarters in Osaka, Japan, in 2010.

In 2012, he returned to Europe and took up the position of assistant manager, marine sales, from which he was promoted to his current position.
