Another AMS certification from USCG for BWTS

The Ecochlor BWTS uses a two-step process – filtration followed by disinfection with a chlorine dioxide biocide – to treat ballast water. AMS certification allows ship operators to use the system in US waters to effectively manage ballast discharges for up to five years, while the vendor of the system proceeds through the full USCG type approval process.
