Mitsui produces 3.83m BHP for 2012

This is a decrease compared with production in the previous year which stood at 4.31 million BHP by 220 sets.

Since it first entered into agreement with B&W (currently MAN Diesel and Turbo) for diesel engine manufacturing in1926, MES has produced a total engine output of 80 million BHP as of November 2012. The annual production for this fiscal year is expected to be 3.3 million BHP.

This year, MES will carry out a demonstration test for an Electronically Controlled Gas Injection Diesel Engine (ME-GI) and will build an operation facility for the ME-GI engine together with its fuel gas supply system in the diesel engine factory.
