W&O chosen as Bestobell supplier
As distributor, W&O will offer Bestobell Valves’ LNG cryogenic valves for Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) fuel applications as a solution for marine companies throughout North America.
Mark Henley, managing director, PEGL, said: “The distribution agreement will create fantastic opportunities for both W&O and Bestobell Valves as it utilises the common strengths of both companies.”
Bestobell says it chose W&O because of its large footprint and strong connections in the North American market.
“Our presence in Canada and all major ports within the US enables us to assist in managing marine LNG projects from design to completion We are combining Bestobell’s proven product and our ability to provide local, on-site support and project management for our valued customers,” added Matt Hallisey, engineered solutions product manager, W&O.
Bestobell’s Valves has been supplying to the LNG marine markets for 15 years. Its valves are widely used on LNG carriers, Floating Production and Storage Offloading Vessels (FSPOs) and Floating, Storage and Re-gasification Units (FSRUs), and are now being used in LNG fuel systems for ships.
