The agreements, signed at the Neva exhibition in St Petersburg, Russia, include interaction with Transas on training RS staff as well as development of safety and pollution prevention standards. This is in addition to the agreement with NAPA of Finland (see separate story) regarding the use of NAPA software to assess and approve calculations, such as stability calculations and statutory compliance,

Two other agreements involve the Admiral SO Makarov State University of Sea and River Fleet. The first of these involves jointly working in the areas of simulator training and R&D work. The other is a four-party agreement, in which RS and the university will be joined by Petrobalt Design Office and Numeriek Centrum Groningen, to establish a training and innovation centre based on the use of Nupas-Cadmatic software.
