STX Canada added to Foran user base

The system will be implemented at STXM’s headquarters in Vancouver, with licenses covering hull forms, general arrangement and naval architecture, hull structure, machinery and outfitting, and draughting and drawing.

STXM, part of STX Offshore and Shipbuilding, specialises in offshore supply vessels and offshore patrol vessels, with four offices in North America. Foran is part of an ongoing modernisation process at STXM, which intends to develop3D CAD/CAM tools for design and production of all vessel types as a fundamental part of improved productivity and quality.
