‘Corona Royal’ delivery

The 229.98m Corona Royal is an 88,000 DWT special coal carrier, built at Marugame Shipyard.

With this latest vessel, the ‘Corona’ series consists of 16 carriers.

K Line says it will continue to develop its ‘Corona’ series, its specialised fleet for transport of thermal coal.

The series consists of epoch-making coal carriers equipped with wide beam and shallow draft, which the company says are the most suitable type to enter ports of domestic thermal power stations to discharge cargo to.
