Drydocks is looking for global business partners and has signed a strategic alliance with NSC

Ali AlSuwaidi, vice president business and commercial, Drydocks World, said the agreement would: “Further build and strengthen our business relationship with NSC which began in 2007.”

For NSC, the alliance will mean the shipper’s 56 vessels obtaining priority over berthing slots for maintenance and engineering and it will also receive fixed pricing structures and preferential payment terms from the yard.

Drydocks meanwhile are seeking to nurture a long term business potential with leading companies in the shipping sector to cultivate future business.

The group says it’s all part of the strategy to “reinforce its customer centric approach to service delivery.”

To date, Drydocks has received 11 ship repair orders from NSC. The most recent of which was for the cargo vessel Atlanta which underwent afloat repair and installation of twist lock pockets at the beginning of October.
