DSME ends year on a high
The 345m FSRU, which will be a core facility for an LNG import project in Uruguay, will have a storage capacity of 263,000m³.
MOL and its subsidiary GDF Suez SA has signed a 20 year charter party for the FSRU.
The receiving terminal will be located 4km offshore of the Port of Montevideo, where the FSRU will be moored on offshore jetty protected by breakwater.
It will deliver natural gas ashore through high pressure arms located on the jetty head and the gas will be sent ashore via a subsea pipeline.
The FSRU is to be completed by September 2016 and will enter into service in November 2016 after delivery and commissioning at the Port of Montevideo, Uruguay.
DSME says with this latest order, it has exceeded its yearly order target of US$13bn.
