Newbuild rock installation vessel

This order marks a significant step for Sinopacific into the field of building specialised offshore vessels.

The E169 rock installation vessel will be fully customised to the requirements of Van Oord setting high standards in both personnel safety and environmental protection. It will do away with the need for manual handling of equipment because it has a highly mechanised configuration.

Last month, Sinopacific received an order for three PSVs to its own SPP17A design from Mexican shipping company Naviera Petrolera Integral. This marked the first order from Mexico for its own-design ships and all will be built at the Sinopacific Zhejiang shipyard.
