New European distributor for Hyde

The distribution agreement grants W&O Europe the exclusive rights to promote the product line in the region along with providing commissioning services.

“W&O Europe is excited to bring the Hyde Guardian Gold BWTS to our customers, particularly as the IMO Ballast Water Management Convention nears ratification,” said Kristof Adam, managing director, W&O Europe.

He pointed out that this agreement has been reached on the back of the successful relationship Hyde Marine has developed with W&O in North America.

Hyde Marine said its Guardian Gold system has the smallest footprint on the market and allows for easy installation with its simple design and the ability to be skid mounted. Standard systems are available for flow rates from 60 up to 60m3/hr.

Guardian Gold is chemical free and uses efficient filtration and ultraviolet disinfection to treat ship ballast water, preventing the spread of invasive species from port to port.

It was among the first the receive IMO Type Approval in April 2009 and also has several Type Approvals from several Class Societies.
