GE and Fincantieri deliver
Built at the Marghera Shipyards near Venice, Costa Diadema is 306m in length, weighs 132,500 gross tonnes, and has the capacity to carry up to 5,000 passengers. It’s fitted with GE’s latest electric power and propulsion system including six generators and six aft/bow thruster electrical motors, HV main switchboard and distribution transformers, propulsion transformers, synchro-drives and motors.
