Danish Maritime Fair announces 2015 dates
The fair is part of the Danish Maritime Days event that includes several activities dedicated to the maritime sector, among them the high-level Danish Maritime Forum.
Reservations for stands opened this month, with 171 stands on offer. Halls will be divided into five main sections: shipping & finance; authorities, education and organisations; bunkers & services; equipment suppliers; and various, including ports and offshore.
The fair organiser noted that it would focus on further engaging ship owners in this year’s event. A special exhibition area has been set aside for companies in the shipping sector and a related theme (crew and HR, shipping and finance, nautical and technical) will be introduced daily throughout the exhibition.
Jakob le Fevre, global business development director, explained: “We want to generate a more dynamic context in which shipowners’ representatives actually take part in the action. The commercial part of the business really needs a local place to meet, interact, network and discuss deals, and this is what we’re creating at the Danish Maritime Fair.”
The Fair will take place at The Train Workshop in Copenhagen, the impressive formet repair shop of the Danish State Railways.
