PrimeServ wins RCCL turbocharger retrofit contract
The vessels, operated by Royal Caribbean International
and
Pullmantur, will be fitted with either Sixteen TCA55 turbochargers will be fitted to Royal Caribbean International’s

eur of the Seas
and
Enchantment of the Seas, both equipped with four 12V48/60 MAN engines. And four NA40/S
and
ten NA34/S turbochargers will be installed onboard Pullmantur’s Horizon
and
Zenith, both with two MAN 9L40/54B
and
five 6L40/54B engines. Attachment kits
and
technical support are also included in the contract.

Installation of the first retrofit will take place aboard
Enchantment of the Seas in December during its regular sailing schedule between Florida
and
the Bahamas. Each installation will take approximately ten days per engine.
