Baltic project to drive digitalisation and green shipping

The €4.2 million programme, led by the University of Turku, is set to explore topics ranging from vessel performance monitoring to cargo stowage and shipyard process optimisation. Part of the activities will be to develop a roadmap for maritime digitalisation and policy recommendations, as well as developing training programmes and organising public meetings.

OSK-ShipTech will conduct 3D-scanning technology pilots at SC Western Shipyard in Lithuania, with the aim of improving shipyard processes both environmentally and in terms of production efficiency. The ECOPRODIGI project will run for three years.
