ABG Shipyard in Mumbai is building three `Special Pollution Control Vessels` for the Indian Coast Guard at an estimated cost of $86 million. These vessels are equipped with oil spill response solutions.

For this project, ABG has teamed up with British company Rolls-Royce for designing the first of its kind vessel which can ply in ocean and river coast. The vessels, which are under construction, will also have rescue operations and medical assistance facilities.
