Aker gets Color Magic

Aker Yards and Color Line have signed a contract to build a sister vessel to ?Color Fantasy?, the worlds largest cruise ship with car deck, that was delivered in December 2004. The agreement includes an option to purchase a third vessel. The newbuilding will be named ?Color Magic? and will enter into service on the Oslo – Kiel route during the fourth quarter 2007. The contract value is EUR 325 million. ?Color Magic? will be 223.7 metres long, 35 metres wide and will be built partly at the Turku yard and partly at Rauma.
