Aker Yards confirms ferry contract

With reference to a letter of intent announced on 29 December 2004, Aker Yards has now received confirmation from Fjord1 in the form of a firm contract for the building of five gas powered ferries. The contract is worth approximately NOK 1.2 billion and delivery is scheduled for second half of 2006.
