Anchor-handling equipment on order

The two shipsets comprise the following:

• anchor-handling/towing winches
• anchor windlass mooring winches
• tugger winches
• capstans
• storage reels
• shark jaws/towing pins
• telescopic deck cranes.

The anchor-handling towing winches have a 380 tonnes line pull and a 500 tonnes static brake. The equipment is scheduled for delivery at the end of 2011 and it will be manufactured at Cargotec’s facilities for offshore load handling in Singapore and China. The 150 – 160 tonnes bollard-pull vessels will be classed by ABS and are destined for a Singaporean owner.
