Aqua-Terra bags CNOOC job
Aqua-Terra, one of the three Singapore-listed oil services firms headed by Indonesian tycoon Kris Wiluan, said it would supply equipment and manage projects worth over $44 million for the Chinese oil major’s CNOOC Oil Base Group. Aqua-Terra has also entered into a partnership with CNOOC to provide shipbuilding services.
Under the terms of the contract, it will provide integrated procurement and project management services to CNOOC Oil Base for the construction of 6,500 dwt bunkering oil tankers. It will also supply a 300-man accommodation and work barge and a 55-metre offshore utility vessel. The contracts are expected to be completed next year and in 2009.
