ASL clinches new contracts

ASL Marine headquartered in Singapore, has clinched new deals worth $24 million.

The latest contracts are for the construction of three work barges and four rotor tugs to be delivered to customers in Europe. The three work barges are expected to be completed

by June 2006 and the four rotor tugs by June 2008. They will bring the total value of shipbuilding contracts secured within the past two months to $42.6 million.

ASL Marine owns and operates a shipyard in Singapore and another in Batam, Indonesia.
