ASL shipyard secures big newbuilding contracts

ASL Shipyard in Singapore, a wholly owned subsidiary of ASL Marine Holdings, has secured additional contracts worth a total of $58.6 million for the construction of 31 new vessels and floating structures. These new contracts are for the building and delivery of the vessels for ASL Energy, Svitzer Wijsmuller Group, Jan De Nul Group, Interbeton B.V., Kooren Shipbuilding and Trading B.V. and Koon Construction.

Included in the contracts is a 65,000DWT floating terminal pontoon, 24 flat top deck cargo barges, three jetty pontoons, two Rotortugs and one azimuth stern drive (ASD) tug.
