Attica orders ropax pair

The Attica Group, Greece, has ordered two fast ropax ferries from Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME). The vessels will have an overall length of 145.5m, a speed of 26 knots and the capacity to carry 2,400 passengers and 450 private vehicles or 50 freight units and 150 private vehicles.

Attica’s Superfast subsidiary has a 700-passenger vessel on order in Italy for delivery this year.
