Bharati wins Clipper deal

Bharati Shipyard in Mumbai, India, has signed a $130.5 million contract with Clipper Group (Management) Ltd. of the Bahamas to build six 20,000 dwt geared bulk carriers. These newbuildings will be of the first of the ?Inventor? series designed by Algoship and will measure 155 metres in length, 24 metres in width, have a 9.45 metre draught and a service speed of 14 knots.
