Bound4blue hires Silversteam’s Mann amidst wind propulsion growth

Mann brings over 25 years of maritime and energy industry experience, including senior roles at Silverstream Technologies, Rolls-Royce Marine, Siemens, and MAN Energy Solutions. As CCO, Mann will spearhead the roll-out of bound4blue’s DNV Type Approved eSAIL®, a fully autonomous suction sail system designed to deliver exceptional propulsion efficiency.

The eSAIL® technology utilises an aerodynamically optimized surface to generate significant propulsive force by pulling air across the sail. Its DNV certification for compliance with WAPS technical standards ensures it meets stringent industry benchmarks, simplifying the technical validation process for customers and supporting broader adoption across the maritime sector.
