BT cuts off-peak costs

Until March 31, BT is cutting the cost of all off-peak voice, fax and ordinary data calls via Inmarsat-A or B-Sat, except for those made during the first off-peak hour. The offer does not include high-speed data calls.

Supersaver per-minute prices for Inmarsat-A are the same for all destination countries at $2.99 with B-Sat calls at $2.80, says BT. The Supersaver offer is available from 20.31 to 05.30 universal time constant (UTC) in the Indian and Atlantic Ocean regions east and west, and from 11.01 to 20.00 UTC in the Pacific Ocean region. However, during the first off peak hour BT`s normal tariffs apply.

Supersaver call prices are between 14.3 per cent and 48.4 per cent lower than its normal off-peak tariffs, says BT.
