BT launches global service

The full service which will offer world-wide Internet roaming is scheduled for completion by mid-1999, says BT. BT Internet Global will link the company`s Concert terrestrial network with its satellite land earth stations to offer marine connections via Inmarsat to BT`s -A, B-Sat, -M and Mini-M (Mobiq) terminals.
