Bureau Veritas enters into partnership with Dassault Systemes

Dassault Systèmes’ platform will enable continued assessments throughout the lifetime of ships and offshore platforms.

“The power of Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform will enable our engineers to collaborate on every ship and unit, link them with our VeriSTAR tool and save time and money for our clients while improving accuracy and tractability,” said Didier Machaud-Daniel, CEO of Bureau Veritas.

He added: “This partnership with Dassault Systèmes and the initiatives which flow from it are some of the first steps in the digital transformation of Bureau Veritas.”

Bureau Veritas’ management system will help owners and operators in their decision making and aim to improve maintenance and repair. This will seek to reduce cost and downtime.

It is hoped that the 3DEXPERIENCE platform will enable companies to move from a document-base to an experience-based certification approach.
