China Shipping active in newbuilding market

The China Shipping group has approved plans by wholly owned subsidiary, China Shipping Development (HK) Marine, to order two 42,000DWT oil tankers from Guangzhou Shipyard International at a cost of $57 million. These tankers will be used for transporting crude and refined oil and are expected to begin operations in February and June 2006.
