Chinese shipbuilders snap up huge new orders

IRISL, the Iranian shipping company, placed an order for six 53,500 dwt bulk carriers with Yangzhou Shipbuilding in China. They will be delivered from 2008 to 2009 and four more options are attached.

K. Jebsen placed new order of six 33,500 dwt bulk carriers with Nantong Mingde Heavy Industry and another shipbuilder in China. They will be delivered from 2007 to 2008 and three more options are attached.

Jinling Shipyard clinched six 53,000 dwt product carriers from Chambridge Partners. They will be delivered from 2008 to 2009. Three more options are attached.
