Company unveils its ‘secret’ marine existence
The company claims experience in a variety of markets. Its marine customers include naval vessels, cross-channel ferries, commercial vessels, fishing craft and racing powerboats. It says that it supplies, services and upgrades turbochargers from ABB, Napier, MTU, MAN B&W, Yanmar, KKK, Garrett, Holset, IHI and Mitsubishi. Goods and services include the supply of new and reconditioned turbochargers, design and manufacture of hybrid turbochargers, specialist blueprinting service, manufacture of spare or obsolete parts and in-house renovation of housings.
The machine shops include dynamic balancing machines and full welding facilities, and the company is accredited to ISO 9001:2008. The company says that its biggest asset is its team of trained turbocharger engineers, who can ensure the customer is provided with a cost effective solution to turbocharger problems, providing parts, overhaul and breakdown servicing, even manufacturing bespoke components that are obsolete or otherwise irreplaceable.
Turbo Dynamics offers a marine turbocharger breakdown service, which attempts to offer a fact turnround (same day if possible) at competitive cost. A full 12-month warranty is offered on parts and services.
