Cosalt updates its flotation range
A new range of constant-wear survival clothing is available from Cosalt Safety and Protection. The company says its Aquarius, Gemini and Cormorant flotation garments use improved materials that offer easier movement together and better protection against the elements. The suits combine an outer and inner material with a middle layer of Thermaflote foam. This provides warmth in and out of the water as well as adding buoyancy, says Cosalt. Other features include drainage facilities, soft inner cuffs, lifejacket attachment loops, adjustable ankle and wrist straps, an adjustable hood with peaked cap, a double storm flap and an adjustable chin and neck flap. The Cormorant is a one-piece high performance suit aimed at the commercial marine market. It is designed for heavy-duty applications in cold offshore environments. The one-piece Aquarius uses a lighter outer material (210 D PU coated nylon) and is designed for marine and waterside activities. The Gemini is a two-piece jacket and trouser alternative to the Aquarius. All garments are navy and red and available in small, medium, large and extra large.
