Cube for oil

TEC has launched the Lubetainer for the transportation and storage of lube oils, waxes and other non-hazardous liquids. It uses the company?s `cube` technology which gives the unit an additional 40 per cent carrying capacity over a traditional round tank, says TEC.

The intermodal unit uses standard twistlocks and dimensions and can be transported on conventional vessels, trucks and rail bogies, says TEC. The unit has Lloyd`s Register approval as a standard container and meets type 70 ISO 1496 part 3 tank container classification.

The double-skinned container has internal baffles to prevent dynamic movement of the product and is available with optional heating kits, a leg support system, hose and pump sets. For static storage both 20ft and 45ft units are available.
