Daewoo nets Capesize bulker

Daewoo Shipbuilding in Korea clinched a Capesize bulk carrier from Korea Line. The shipping company ordered the 170,800DWT ship for delivery in July 2006 at a contract price of $59.6 million. When completed, the newbuilding will transport coal for Korea Electric Power Corporation on an 18 year charter.
