Daewoo wins eight orders

Daewoo Shipbuilding has clinched orders for eight ships with a total value of $880 million. This latest haul comprises of four 84,000 cubic metre LPG carriers, two from Exmar and two from Maran Gas Maritime, and four 8,400TEU container ships from CMA CGM.

The four LPG carriers will be delivered by November 2008 and the container ships by May 2009.
