DDW and Saipem form agreement

DDW says the agreement touches upon areas such as engineering support, procurement, vessel conversion, offshore fabrication, repair and life extension of vessels and new building of FSOs and FPSOs, and is in line with its global strategy of creating additional and increased capacity and efficiencies in all its four main business segments, of repairs, conversion, new building and engineering.

DDW says that as a result of the agreement, it can now place accurate bids on projects reducing the lead time of Saipem’s projects.
