DNV GL and New Dayang agree bulker design JDP

The project will cover the application of the new harmonized common structural rules (HCSR) to the design, and enhancing the design’s energy efficiency, focusing on the machinery and electrical systems. The JDP also includes a broader assessment of different propulsion systems for bulk carrier designs, in terms of the impact of future environmental requirements on Capex and Opex requirements.
