DOF goes to India for newbuilding

Norwegian offshore operator DOF ASA has awarded Tebma Shipyards Limited in India a contract for the construction of a new multi-purpose service vessel (MPSV). The NOK250m vessel will be of the design VS 485, and is scheduled for delivery in April 2010. DOF, headquartered in Storebo, Norway, operates platform supply, anchor handling tug supply and multi-purpose vessels. The company has a fleet of 67 vessels including newbuildings.
