Dubai company delivers OSV from Indonesia

Recently-delivered AHTS 'Crest Olympus'

The ship, named Crest Olympus, is 76m length oa, beam 18.5m and draught 6.8m. With 150ton bollard pull, it has DP2 capability and is of fire fighting class 1. The vessel is equipped with deck machinery from Rolls Royce Marine, a main engine 9M32 from MaK, Kawasaki side thruster and Berg propulsion. It is designed by Wärtsilä Ship Design and classified by ABS. The value of the contract is put at $20.4 million, excluding owner furnished equipment.

We see a heightened demand for our services in the immediate future,” said Khamis Juma Buamim, chairman of Drydocks World.

The owner is part of Pacific Radiance Group, which is a Singapore based company providing integrated marine solutions for oil & gas, mining, subsea engineering contracts and related services support industries.
